Somerville Police Respond to Attempted Robbery & Assault

21044901: On 8/28/21 at approximately 6:10 PM, Somerville Police responded to 400 Somerville Ave for report of an unarmed robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male victim who stated approximately 20 minutes prior, he was approached by a white male wearing a white hoodie and riding a bike that attempted to grab his watch and wallet. The victim pulled away then fled the area. Officers then spoke with another victim who stated a male matching the same description struck him in his face.

 

Somerville Police Respond to Assault

21044530: On 8/25/21 at approximately 5 PM, Somerville Police responded to the area of Broadway & Garfield Ave for report of two males fighting. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male victim who stated while inside a nearby restaurant, he observed a male party looking at his vehicle. When the victim confronted the male party, the male party struck him in the head multiple times. Officers identified the male party.

21044528: On 8/26/21 at approximately 4:50 PM, Somerville Police responded to the area of Broadway & Alewife Brook Parkway for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two males who stated they were involved in an argument that escalated into a fight.
