    22052739: On 9/16/22 at approximately 5:28 PM, Somerville Police responded to the area of Broadway & North St for report of a robbery that occurred 30 minutes prior. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated her juvenile son was robbed of his cellphone by three male suspects.

    22050487: On 9/7/22 at approximately 7:48 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Grandview Ave for a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated someone broke into the common area of the apartment and stole her wallet.

    22049390: On 9/1/22 at approximately 6:23 PM, Somerville Police responded to High St for report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was punched in the face following an altercation with a male party at a neighboring house. The suspect was described as a medium to heavy build white male wearing a blue t-shirt.

    22047757: On 8/25/22 at approximately 4:27 PM, Somerville Police responded to Cross St for report of a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that while her juvenile son was playing soccer, two other juvenile males approached him and one of them punched him in the chest causing him to fall and injure his leg.

    22045676: On 8/16/22 at approximately 3:01 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Glen St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated when he returned home from work, he noticed his door had been smashed in and several belongings were stolen.

      22044701: On 8/11/22 at approximately 2:11 PM, a female party entered the station and reported that her juvenile son was assaulted by another juvenile male while at a summer school program. The juvenile victim suffered injuries to his eye and face.

    • Shots Fired August 13, 2022

      On Saturday, August 13th, at approximately 01:05am, Somerville 911 received two calls reporting shots fired around Memorial Rd. In speaking with witnesses and reviewing video in the area, police learned a suspect on foot exchanges gunfire with two suspects operating a scooter on River Road. Officers recovered more than 15 shell casings on River Rd. No victims or injuries have been identified at this time, but police have located ballistic damage to vehicles and buildings.

      Residential Breaking and Entering

      22042867: On 8/2/22 at approximately 4:43 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Dartmouth St for report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a victim who stated her son was walking home and was chased by a group of juveniles who were attempting to beat him up. The victim’s son arrived home and the juveniles began pushing on the door causing it to break off its hinges. The juvenile suspects fled when they heard police were being called then stole two bikes belonging to the son and his friend. Officers located the suspects nearby and retrieved the stolen bikes.
