Crime Log January 7 to January 13, 2025

Assault

25001148: On 1/7/25 at approximately 1:09 PM, Somerville Police responded to Beacon St for report of a road rage incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he got into an argument with a male and female while in traffic. The suspects began yelling at the victim then threatened to stab him. The suspects and the victim then pulled into a parking lot and the male suspect threw a drink at the victim’s car and attempted to grab him. The suspects then fled the area.

Residential Breaking & Entering

25002047: On 1/12/25 at approximately 11:17 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Spring St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated someone broke into her basement and stole several tools.

25002155: On 1/13/25 at approximately 2:08 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Highland Rd for report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a male party inside the victim’s bedroom. Officers identified the suspect. Nothing was reported missing.

Assault

25002080: On 1/12/25 at approximately 4:21 PM, a male party came into the station and stated he was walking in Davis Sq and got into an argument with another male. During the argument, the suspect punched the victim.

Residential Breaking & Entering

25001963: On 1/11/25 at approximately 7:59 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Victoria St for report of a stolen bicycle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated two bicycles were stolen from his basement. 

Arrest

25001840: On 1/10/25 at approximately 11:38 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Elm St for report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed a male party heavily bleeding from his head. He stated he was involved in an argument with another male and was struck in the head with a bottle. Officers located the male suspect and he was placed under arrest.
