Maritime Training Opportunity for Somerville Police Officers

Somerville Police Department recently looked to police officers to volunteer to attend Basic Crew Member Training.

This training opportunity offered two training sessions at Massport Fire and Boston Police. The BMC training included training on boat handling, docking, deck work, and basic navigation. These programs help provide the Department's officers become better prepared to act confidently and correctly in any given situation. While also fulfilling Officer's interest in the program.
