Somerville Police Respond to Residential Breaking & Entering

21035151: On 7/9/21 at approximately 10:15 PM, Somerville Police responded to a multifamily residence on Jay St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a resident who stated his bicycle was missing from the basement. He then stated he observed dentures, a license and stains of what appeared to be blood on the basement floor, all of which Detectives processed.

21034300: On 7/6/21 at approximately 11:30 AM, Somerville Police responded to a multifamily residence on Ibbetson St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the homeowner who stated that earlier in the day at approximately 10:15 AM, she observed a male suspect on her home surveillance system attempting to open the basement door. The suspect then disappears and was then observed a few minutes later exiting the basement with a bicycle. The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a gray sweatshirt with red lettering, a "camo" baseball hat, navy shorts, gray sneakers, and carrying a navy backpack.
