Assault Log May 10 to May 16 2022

Assault

22025755: On 5/10/22 at approximately 7:00 PM, two juveniles entered the station and reported a past assault. They stated that while on Linden St, they were involved in an altercation with another juvenile. The two juvenile victims then left the area and were chased by the father of the other juvenile. The father caught up to the juvenile victims then struck them multiple times.

22025720: On 5/10/22 at approximately 3:15 PM, an individual entered the station and reported that his daughter was assaulted after school. Officers then spoke with the victim who stated she was struck multiple times in the head by another girl.

22026491: On 5/13/22 at approximately 3:07 PM, Somerville Police responded to the Healey School for an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the juvenile victim who stated while in the bathroom, she was assaulted multiple times by three girls.

22026961: On 5/15/22 at approximately 6:49 PM, Somerville Police responded to Professors Row for an assist. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while walking on Elm St, she observed four boys staring at her. The victim then approached the boys and one of them threw a plastic pole at her.

22027247: On 5/14/22 at approximately 8:38 PM, a woman entered the station and reported a past assault. The victim stated that on 5/14/22 while driving at the intersection of Washington St & Myrtle St, the operator of another vehicle pulled up next to her and began calling her racial slurs. The victim was then followed by the other driver to a nearby intersection. While the victim was stopped at a light, the operator of the other vehicle reached through the victim’s driver side window and grabbed her arm while attempting to steal her phone. The victim then fled the area in her vehicle.
