Shots Fired, March 21, 2023

On 3/21/23 at approximately 9:02 PM, Somerville Police responded to the area of 31 Temple St for report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located approximately (16) shell casings on the street.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other.  These same two vehicles fled the area west on Broadway and again shots were fired in the area of Main Street between Moreland St and Fremont Street where police recovered an additional 16 shell casings.   Several businesses storefront glass windows and numerous parked cars sustained damaged after being struck by stray bullets.  No injuries were reported.
