Crime Log May 16 to May 22, 2023

Assault

23027575: On 5/19/23 at approximately 10:40 AM, Somerville Police took a report from a female party who stated on 4/12/23, her juvenile son was shot with a gel pellet gun while playing at the playground at the Healey School. The juvenile suffered multiple bruises.

Assault

23028033: On 5/21/23 at approximately 3:42 PM, Somerville Police responded to Assembly Row for a report of threats. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two juvenile males who stated they were harassed by five other juvenile males. One of the juvenile suspects brandished a knife. They were described as wearing all black and riding Blue Bikes.

23028106: On 5/21/23 at approximately 11:08 PM, Somerville Police responded to an apartment complex in Assembly Row for report of injured person. Upon arrival, officers observed two female parties fighting. Officers defused the situation and both females were identified.

Assault

23027017: On 5/16/23 at approximately 9:15 PM, Somerville Police responded to Elm St for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two juvenile males who stated they got into an altercation with a female party. During the altercation, the female party threw her drink at the juveniles. The juveniles provided officers with a suspect description and officers located the female party shortly after. She was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants.

Arrest

23027023: On 5/16/23 at approximately 10:30 PM, Somerville Police responded to Cambridge St & Carter St in Boston for report of an assault that occurred earlier at 31 Washington St in Somerville. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while he was outside on Washington St, he got into an altercation with a male party. During the altercation, the male party brandished a knife then fled down Washington St into Boston where he was apprehended by Boston Police. Officers recovered two knives from his person. He was placed under arrest.
