The Somerville Police are asking the public's help in identifying the pictured person of interest in three recent residential housebreaks that occurred near the Powder House Rotary. The unknown individual has been observed in homes between 12 AM and 8:30 AM by entering unlocked doors. Residents are urged to lock all doors and windows overnight, particularly those on ground level. Residents are also urged to call police if they see anything unusual in their neighborhood such as loitering; persons in driveways or yards who shouldn't be; and any other suspicious behavior.

23055202: On 9/26/23 at approximately 8:48 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Belmont St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated the front door was forced open. Nothing was reported missing.

23053815: On 9/19/23 at approximately 8:00 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on College Ave for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated the home is being remodeled and multiple tools were stolen.

23052767: On 9/14/23 at approximately 2:15 PM, Somerville Police took a report regarding a past breaking and entering at a residence on Morton St. The victim stated a male party entered the common area of her building and attempted to break into her apartment.

23050808: On 9/5/23 at approximately 11:41 AM, Somerville Police took a report regarding a past breaking and entering at a residence on Whitman St. The victim stated the house is being remodeled and copper pipe was stolen.
