Crime Log May 7 to May 13, 2024
Robbery
24025529: On 5/4/24 at approximately 8:23 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated a male and female party entered the store and began to shoplift several items. When he approached the suspects, the male suspect brandished a knife at him.
Shooting 5/12/24
On Sunday, 5/12/24 at approximately 2:58 AM Somerville Police responded to Memorial Rd for reports of shots fired. Officers located a victim suffering from two non-fatal gunshot wounds who was then transported to the hospital. Ten spent shell casings were recovered from the scene. A residence, an administration building, and a vehicle all sustained ballistic damage from stray bullets but there were no other injuries. Assault
24024168: On 4/29/24 at approximately 12:30 AM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Sanborn Ct for report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim suffering from an injury to his eye. He stated that he was inside the business and got into an argument with a male party. During the argument, the male party punched him in the face. Officers identified the male suspect.

24021420: On 4/16/24 at approximately 6:01 PM, Somerville Police responded to Assembly Row for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he began talking with a group of young males and one of them brandished a knife at him.
