Residential Breaking and Entering

22004965: On 2/1/22 at approximately 12:23 AM, officers responded to a multifamily residence on Albion St for a check condition. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she believed someone had entered her home while she was out a few hours earlier. The victim stated multiple things appeared to have been in a different state than when she left. Nothing was reported missing.

22004494: On 1/28/22 at approximately 10:41 PM, Somerville Police responded to Somerville Ave for report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while stopped at a red light, a vehicle behind her was beeping repeatedly and the driver was yelling. After the light turned green, the victim drove down Bow St while the other vehicle was still behind her. Once stopped at another red light, the driver of the vehicle behind her became angry and started bumping his vehicle into her vehicle multiple times. Officers identified the suspect.

Arrest

22003924: On 1/25/22 at approximately 4:38 PM, Somerville Police arrested a man in Assembly Row for assault with a dangerous weapon. Officers spoke with the victims who stated while shopping inside a store, they were confronted by the defendant who began acting aggressively. During the confrontation, the defendant brandished a knife at them. Officers located a knife in the defendant’s jacket.

Somerville Police Assist FBI and Mass Police Search Warrant 

For several months the FBI conducted joint investigations into individuals distributing narcotics in and around Plymouth county. Investigators also determined a connection with two addresses in Braintree and Somerville. On Jan 25th, Somerville Police Detectives assisted the FBI South Shore Gang Unit & Massachusetts State Police Investigation Unit with the execution of a search warrant at a Canal St location in Somerville where investigators seized approximately 2 kilograms of heroin and other drugs.  ( https://fallriverreporter.com/fbi-arrest-taunton-man-seize-5500-grams-of-fentanyl-and-cocaine-and-more-than-50000/)

Somerville Police Respond to Breaking & Entering

22002705: On 1/18/22 at approximately 2:09 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Carver St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he observed the lock on his shed was taken off and two bikes were missing.
