Shooting

22008734: On 2/20/22 a 2:38 AM, Somerville Police responded to the area of 500 Mystic Ave for report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located two victims nearby in a vehicle. The victims stated they parked their vehicle in the parking lot and another vehicle pulled up next to them. Three men then exited the vehicle and began shooting at them before returning to their vehicle and fleeing the area. No injuries were reported. Officers recovered ten shell casings. Investigation is ongoing.

Home Invasion

22008432: On 2/18/22 at 7:20 PM, Somerville Police responded to a multifamily residence in the area of Broadway & Autumn St for report of a man who came into a house with a gun. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while outside his residence, he was approached by a man who brandished a handgun then ordered him to enter his apartment. Two other men then followed them inside. Once inside, the men threatened the victim then fled in a maroon/brown VW Passat. The suspects were described as Hispanic, one having a goatee and another having long dark hair.

Assault

22008778: On 2/20/22 at approximately 12:56 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for report of a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he engaged in an argument with a man. During the argument, the man struck the victim in his face. The man was described as a white male, wearing a dark colored jacket and Yankees hat.

Robbery

 22007496: On 2/14/22 at approximately 11:35 AM, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for a shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting person who stated a man entered the store and began to steal multiple items. When the employee confronted him, the man threw a tray at the employee then fled out of the store with stolen merchandise. He was described as a black man, wearing a mask, black jacket, security badge and carrying handcuffs.
